Volunteer Training Made Simple

In Ephesians 4:11-13, Paul states that the role of church leaders is “equipping the saints for the work of ministry.”

The result, he says, is unity and maturity. Training, then, is essential to both the design and health of the Church. In the same way you wouldn’t loan your car to someone without a license, why would we trust the work of the Church to untrained volunteers?

Healthy churches practice leadership development—not placement—as they equip their people. But successful training requires a combination of knowledge on how to do the work, experience doing the work, and coaching from a godly leader.

Despite the Ephesians 4 mandate, the reality is that only 1 in 4 churches have a plan to train and develop their leaders.

Studies show when asked why there is no plan in place to train leaders, most pastors say the same three things:

Scattered People: your leaders have a lot going on. Getting them all together to train, at the same time, is impossible.

Limited Time: pastors are busy; developing leaders takes time and most don’t know where to begin.

Lack of Trusted Content: getting unique training content for every leader in every ministry area is nearly impossible and prohibitively expensive.

We can help.

Whether they serve in the parking lot, the pulpit, or anywhere in between, we can help you provide all your leaders and volunteers with the right training at the right time.
